Dr. Danny Earl is a native of San Antonio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southwest Texas State University and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1989. After veterinary school Dr. Earl practiced in Sealy and New Braunfels before finally returning to San Antonio. Dr. Earl’s professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as internal medicine. Dr. Earl acquired ownership of Covenant Care Animal Hospital in January of 2001. Covenant Care Animal Hospital has been consistently rated as one of the top veterinary clinics in San Antonio by several publications. Dr. Earl and his wife Leigh have five beautiful children. When not at work Dr. Earl enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include: hunting, fishing, fly fishing, gardening, snow skiing and anything “Aggie” related.
Dr. Jim Jensen joined Covenant Care Animal Hospital in September of 2006. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1974. His career in zoological medicine began in 1976, and includes positions at the Oklahoma, Knoxville and Baltimore zoos as well as teaching positions at the veterinary schools of the University of Tennessee and Texas A&M University. Dr. Jensen is a Diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine. He has been married to his wonderful wife Cindy since 1971 and they have three children and two grandchildren. Dr. Jensen and his wife also have two small dogs, Duncan and Piper who were adopted from a local shelter. His favorite animal is the camel and he has written publications and given presentations about them that have been valuable to the profession.
Dr. Neira Eisenmann earned her degrees in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. Prior to moving to Texas, she worked in a small animal and exotic clinic in Las Vegas. Dr. Eisenmann's professional interests include exotics, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and seven pets. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and going to local breweries.
Dr. Regina Krampe joined Covenant Care Animal Hospital in July 2007. She received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 1997 and graduated from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Krampe is a native of Nacogdoches, TX and was working in Texarkana, TX before moving to San Antonio after marrying her husband Richard. She is the proud mother of 3 children. Her family also has two cats, two guinea pigs, and one dog. She is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Krampe enjoys both clinical medicine and surgery.
Born and raised in the Dallas area, Dr. Pearson has had a life long interest in animals. He started working in a veterinary hospital kennel in 8th grade and went on to attend Texas A&M University majoring in Chemistry and Microbiology. He graduated with his DVM in 1982. He has worked in many capacities in the profession he loves; as an associate veterinarian, a practice owner, as an educator, as an industry representative, and as a relief veterinarian. He has lived in Texas, Rhode Island, New York, and Tennessee. He has visited veterinary clinics and Veterinary Colleges all over the country. Dr. Pearson started working Saturdays for Affordable Pet Care in 2013 and became full time for Covenant Care Animal Hospital in 2020. He loves San Antonio and lives here with him family that includes 4 dogs and 2 cats.
